Together, We Moved Adelante!

The 3rd Annual Adelante Gala was an unforgettable evening that brought together more than 500 community leaders, partners, and friends in the heart of downtown Omaha. With live mariachi music, vibrant performances, and the energy of our community gathered in celebration, the Gala was more than a night out — it was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve juntos.

We are deeply grateful to Burlington Capital, whose leadership as our presenting sponsor made this event possible. Special thanks also go to our honorary chairs, Anayeli Martinez Real and Ramon Gutierrez-Cardenas, whose dedication and vision helped guide this celebration.

Celebrating Our Honorees

This year, we recognized remarkable leaders who embody the values and vision of LEDC:

  • Claudia Romo Edelman, National Impact Award

  • Armando Salgado, Local Impact Award

  • MAPA, Partner of the Year

The evening concluded with an electrifying performance by Selekto, closing the celebration with music, movement, and joy.

Why the Gala Matters

The Adelante Gala is more than a celebration. It is a recognition of Latino leadership, cultura, and resilience, while underscoring the urgent need to invest in South Omaha’s future.

Funds raised through the Gala directly support LEDC’s mission to leverage Latino influence and economic strength to fuel collective prosperity. From advancing the Adelante Initiative and activating Plaza de la Raza, to cultivating youth leadership and expanding workforce opportunities, LEDC is creating pathways that ensure South Omaha thrives today and for generations to come.

With Gratitude

We extend heartfelt thanks to all our supporting sponsors and partners whose generosity strengthens la comunidad and fuels the momentum of this work. Together, with Burlington Capital at the helm as presenting sponsor, you have shown what is possible when business, civic, and community leaders come together to lift Latino voices and visibility.

The Gala is just the beginning. Together, we can continue to build a stronger, more vibrant future for our community.

¡Juntos, Adelante!
