The Adelante Gala is a powerful moment to celebrate and advance the movement for a more inclusive and equitable Omaha. As our most important fundraiser of the year, it helps fuel LEDC’s mission to uplift Latino communities through small business support, youth leadership, workforce pathways, and community projects such as Plaza de la Raza.

Rafael Magaña is an entrepreneur, speaker, author and leader dedicated to empowering and advancing Hispanic professionals. As the founder of Latino Professionals, Latina Professionals, and Latinx Professionals, he has created powerful networks that provide access to resources, education, and mentorship opportunities.
With two decades of experience in nonprofits, Rafael has a deep knowledge of fundraising, management, board leadership, advocacy, team building, strategic implementation, and community building. Through his work, Rafael is creating a brighter future for Hispanic professionals and helping to build a more diverse and inclusive society. He is based in Los Angeles, California, where he lives with his wife Kimberly and their dog, Archie.
